The trial between telecommunication companies
Are you sure that there are sixty seconds in a minute? But lately one of the IDT companies declared that most of companies, that provide phone cards, propose just 36 seconds in exchange of 60. IDT in legal acts against some of their competitors said that it is hard to vie on a level playing field if a minute is not one minute. IDT/UTA (Union Telecard Alliance) company made a resolve to sue the several companies-providers of prepaid phone cards for the unjust rivalry conditions on a telephone services market.
That is difficult to realize, but several unjust card developers give only about 60% of time, which were paid for. In November 2007 Total Call International, Inc. and IDT/UTA have received a full resolution of the lawsuit delivered by IDT Telecom, Inc. and Union Telecard Alliance, LLC versus Total Call. Before that IDT/UTA began enforcement procedure versus the group of accused for three times. Today there is a roll of other defendants includes about six companies and some of them are: Epana Networks Inc., Dollar Phone Corp., etc.. IDT/UTA's lawsuit versus the residuary defendants is still continuing in federal tribunal in Newark, New Jersey.
